Robin studied art history and received a Bachelor of Art in Art History from the College of Charleston. She worked as an art consultant for Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Company for several years. She also worked at Fraser and Company Art Gallery in Charleston, and Center of the Earth Gallery in Charlotte.  She has traveled throughout Europe studying the art.

As an artist, Robin focuses on still life mostly working in oil paints. She has studied under several artists, including Raed Alrawi, Dottie Leatherwood, and The Braitman Studio, and completed the online drawing course by David Brody, How to Draw.
